Tyler Kelty Lee Harvey

Tyler Kelty Lee Harvey was stillborn on June 15, 2011 at The Birth Center at Virginia Baptist Hospital surrounded by his loving family and compassionate caregivers. Although his earthly body was beautiful and perfect in every way, his spirit was too precious for this earth and he remains in God’s presence. Tyler is the son of Gary Edward Harvey and Sharon Miller Harvey and little brother of Victoria (Tori) Shay Harvey of Lynchburg. The family are members of Fairview Christian Church.

Tyler is also survived by both sets of grandparents, James Kelty Harvey (Paw Paw) and Winifred (Charlotte) Lipscomb Harvey (Maw Maw) of Riner, Virginia and Frederick Lee Miller (Papa) and Cynthia Nester Miller (Nana) of Lynchburg; two aunts and uncles, Rhonda Harvey Kopitzke and her husband Kevin of Roanoke, and Andrea Miller and John Meade of Lynchburg; two first cousins, Breanna and Megan; and countless great aunts, uncles, cousins and many family friends.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation for the caregivers at The Birth Center and Virginia Baptist Hospital, Rev. Jack Hamilton, and all their family and friends near and far who have shown their compassion and love.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations for Tyler be made to Elizabeth’s Early Learning Center’s Sunshine Campaign, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Lynchburg, Va. 24503, Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep www.nowilaymeadowntosleep.org, or Boy Scout Troop 4 care of Fairview Christian Church, 2701 Campbell Ave, Lynchburg, Va. 24501.

The family will hold private memorial and graveside services with no visitation services but invites cards and letters from family and friends.
