Walter's cats that he had a Matthew then he brought to Lynchburg they went to at heaven and then other babies

And this was Blue and Zinc he had these 2 babies in Matthews brought them to Lynchburg then when they went to doggie heaven is when he got Sarah, Hoopie, Mr. Shadow. He loved his animals and his babies. I will miss our talks so much every evening for years. We were together in Matthews for 2 yrs. I MISS YOU WALTER AND THE KIDS!!  Now you are in peace with your sister and parents.

These were also his too beautiful cats that he  took  to Lynchburg all 4 of these animals went to  doggy heaven and then that's when he got Sarah and then Hoopie and Mr.  Shadow.

These were Walter's dogs when he lived in Matthews brought them to Lynchburg before he got his other 3 this is Blue and Zinc

Walt was the architect for the Altavista Area YMCA Athletic Center construction project in 1994. He worked tirelessly to make sure this facility would be a source of pride for Altavista.. Thirty years later it remains a centerpiece of the Altavista community.

Walter and I have been friends for over 50 years. There was a group of six of us that started playing Bridge when we were in high school. We played a lot of Bridge and drank a lot of beer and had a lot of fun together.
Walter and I did many other things together. We put a new roof on his parents house, he designed a new addition for my parents house. We went to New York to see Nick get married and watch shows on Broadway. We were at each others weddings as well as most of our friends. We have had a lifetime of memories together.
Thanks Walt for making my life a little better. The world seems a little small without you.

To Doug and family my prayers are with you and your family as you are grieving for the loss of your brother I have cared for and been a friend of Walters for over 30 years and I am so sorry I will not be able to speak with him as I have done most every night since he moved back to Lynchburg 
   sometimes miracles are just good people with kind hearts Walter was that kind of person to people and animals he loved his dogs and cats and held them close to his heart always I am praying the Lord will comfort your family during this hard time and I am thankful and blessed to have had Walter in my life for so many years.  I pray you will find peace and knowing he is no longer suffering and will be with Melinda and your parents for eternity I would be very grateful if you would call me in the near future at your convenience as I would like to speak to you personally when you feel up to it I love Walter for many years and he will always be in my heart. I will miss Walt, especially at the bridge table. We were friends for about 56 years, and friends like that are special.

I had no idea until today I am so upset I wish someone had contact me I call him every night every single night as 3 dogs are like my babies they were getting ready to come and see me after his retirement cause I had been in the hospital my name is darling adder ET TER please let me know what is going on and where are the babies at Keith this is Darlene I know you have heard of me and you all said Doug
