Born in Danville, November 30, 1943, he was the son of the late Queen Giggetts. He was retired from G.E./Ericsson after 33 years of service. Willie loved to hunt, fish and working to keep his yard in perfect shape.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Breanna Boyd and one daughter, Tracy Graham and two sisters, Shirley Womack and Mary Womack.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cheryl S. Giggetts; three daughters, Kristi F. Giggetts and Samantha Giggetts both of Lynchburg and Lolita Giggetts of Richmond; two sisters, Laverne Edwards and Faye Maples; three brothers Phil Womack, Jeremiah Womack and Ronald Womack and one granddaughter, Miyah Boyd.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 122 Willow Bend Dr., Lynchburg on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society, 1211 Old Graves Mill Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24502.
