Born April 27, 1974, Winston, affectionately known as “Nubz,” was the kind of person you could always count on. Whenever someone needed help, he was the first to step in, ready to solve the problem no matter how big or small. He had a true passion for working on cars and took pride in fixing anything that wasn’t working quite right. With his kind heart and generous spirit, Winston was always willing to lend a “paw” and be there for others. Above all, he was a good brother and a genuinely good person, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish Winston’s memory include his loving partner, Wanda Wood; his brothers Lee White and his wife Janice, Daniel White; his daughters Fancy White, Shannon White; his cousins Kole Abbott, Christmas Abbott, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Abbott, Brianna Abbott, Jennifer Abbott, Jackie Abbott; his uncles Lawrence “Eddie” Abott, JW Abbott, Ashby Abbott; his aunt Judy; and his best friends Mike Waller and Tim Custer.
There will be a memorial service for Winston on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1 pm officiated by Pastor Alvin Triplett at Christian Chapel in Lynchburg.
