Anneliese Busch Ross

Celebration of life memorial services for Anneliese Busch Ross, 86, of Kemp, Texas will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 2, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Kemp with Pastor Russell Bryan officiating.

Anneliese passed from this life on July 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 3, 1937, in Idar Oberstein, Germany to Wilheim and Gretel Busch. She married the love of her life, George W. Ross, Jr., on January 21, 1961, and shared 61 wonderful years together. Anneliese was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kemp and once a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing golf, gardening, and camping with her grandkids. During her free time, she adored reading a good book in front of a warm fire or watching cooking shows on TV. Anneliese was also dedicated to helping the less fortunate by donating regularly to the SPCA and the Humane Society of Cedar Creek.

Anneliese is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George; grandson, Kevin D. Freeman; and great-grandson, Jaxon Paul.

She is survived by her son, Michael Heidrich; daughters: Joann Jones and husband Gary, Andrea Cook and husband Kevin; grandchildren: Gary Wayne Yarbrough Jr. and wife Melinda, Matthew Yarbrough and wife Lashawnda, Justin Yarbrough and wife Katie, Colton Yarbrough and Amanda White, Chance Yarbrough and Ashley Bowen, Ashley Adrio, Lance Freemen, Kaitlyn Smith and husband Charlie, Ryan Cook and wife Sarah, Chase Cook, Teresa Heidrich; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Gerhard Busch; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
