Betty enjoyed family motorcycle rides, fishing, camping, canoeing and loved visiting Colorado. She enjoyed baking and canning and her pickles and banana pudding were fantastic! She worked in banking most of her life and was a loan officer for the Town North Bank in Dallas.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Gilbert Thompson whom passed in 2005. Her grandson, Alan Sauceda also preceded her in death as well as many other family members. She is survived by her children; Carol Sauceda, Mitchell Thompson and his wife Karen, grandchildren; Salvador Sauceda and wife Hannah, Troy Thompson and wife Stephanie, and Tara Skinner and husband Brian. Great grandchildren; Gavon Skinner, Avery Thompson, Harper Thompson, Gilbert Thompson, Charlotte Skinner, Harlee Skinner, Samuel Sauceda, Hali Sauceda Timothy Sauceda and Lucas Sauceda, brothers Alan Sirocka, Richard Sirocka and his wife Judy and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
