Carolyn was born on May 12, 1945 in Waxahachie, TX to parents J.W. Brown and Verna Hunter and entered into eternal rest on November 22, 2015 at the age of 70. Carolyn loved shopping, singing karaoke and fishing. She enjoyed traveling to Shreveport and Vegas. Carolyn had a beautiful smile and warm heart. She will be missed tremendously by all those who knew and loved her.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, son Michael Stegall, brother John Willie Brown and sister Ann Brown Parks.
She is survived by her husband Bill Stegall, daughter Kim Stegall of Lake Dallas, daughter Tina Bailey of Gun Barrel City, son Billy Craig Stegall of Gun Barrel City, step-son Kevin Stegall and wife Amy of Malakoff, step-daughter Terri Lynn Stegall of Athens, mother Verna Kritze, grandchildren; Charles Hedges and wife Paige of Lake Dallas, Billy Junior Stegall and fiancé Kerry of Burleson, Khirsty Stegall of Aledo, Kristopher Stegall of Aledo, Jackie Jones of Haynesville, LA and Rodney Bigham of Yangon, Myanmar, eight great-grandchildren, brother Billy Wayne Brown of Gun Barrel City, sister Brenda Overall of College Station, other loving family members and many more friends.
