Mr. Charles Allen Crouch

Mr. Charles Allen Crouch, of Payne Springs, passed away on March 4, 2015 at the age of 65. He was born on August 31, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to parents Howard Ray Crouch and Lois Womack Crouch. Charles held his family close to his heart. He enjoyed working crosswords, grilling, cooking and eating ice cream. Charles loved being outdoors; hunting and fishing. He enjoyed wood working, watching Nascar and westerns; especially John Wayne. Charles graduated from El Centro Jr. College and was in the Army Reserve for 6 years. He worked for Coca-Cola 2 years and Tom Thumb for 12 years. Charles owned and operated a lawn care business for 20 years and also owned two convenience stores for 5 years. He was Baptist by faith. Charles was the best dad, husband and father-in-law ever, he was a loving caring man who will be missed by all who knew him.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Ray Crouch.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary Katherine Crouch of Mabank, daughters; Annmarie Worley and husband Dean of Athens and Becca Crouch of Mabank, brothers; Daryl Crouch and wife Liz of Forney, Gerry Crouch and wife Janie of Mabank, Dwayne Butts of Dallas and Dennis Butts of Dallas, sisters; Linda Welden of Kaufman, Sherry Wells of Terrell and Helen Crouch of Forney, sister-in-law Kathy Crouch of Killeen, niece Elisa Swiney, best friends J.W. and Julie Taylor of Malakoff, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other loving family and many more friends.
