Donald Clark entered into rest on March 12th, 2021. Donald was born on January 20th, 1949 to Chester Clark Sr. and Thelma Trisler. Donald was known as a caring and devoted husband to his belated wife Rachel. They were married on December 11th, 1972 and shared 46 wonderful years together. In Donald’s early adulthood he dedicated 4 years to the United States Army as a Motor Mechanic. He took a lot a pride in his country and was very proud to be an American. Donald later went on to attend Amarillo College where he earned his Auto Mechanics degree. Donald and Rachel raised two children together, they were blessed with grand and great grandchildren. Donald worked as a Carpenter for many years, he took a lot of pride in being a Senior Maintenance Man for Doctor Glen (Doc Haywood) for almost 35 years before retiring in 2013. He and Rachel bought a house on the lake in 1978 and spent years fixing it up with their family. Donald even went on and added a big front porch for him and Rachel to enjoy the sunsets on. For fun he and Rachel would pack up and head to Louisiana to hit up the Casino’s, Diamond Jacks was one of their favorite hangouts. Donald always loved a good time and a cold beverage with his friends and family. He will be truly missed.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Clark; parents, Chester Clark and Thelma Trisler; sister, Ruby Thornton; brothers, Chester Jr and wife Midge Clark, Larry Clark. Donald was survived by daughter, Pamala Clark, Eva and husband Michael Kent; Foster-son, Willie Pair; brother, Terry and wife Debra Scobee; mother-in-law, Mickey Matthews; grandchildren, Cora and Javier Rodriguez, Flint Clark, Allison and Sarah Kent; great grandchildren, Catherine Clark, Liam and Ethyn Rodriguez and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
