

Dorothy Ann Osborne Greenlee was born October 31, 1966 in Perry, Iowa to Frank and Mary Basham Osborne. She passed away on July 3, 2016 at the age of 49. Dot spent most of her childhood in Mabank, Texas where she graduated from high school in 1985. She maintained many close relationships with her childhood friends.
Dorothy spent many successful years in the business world before devoting herself to her love of interior design. She was a graduate of Sheffield School of Interior Design and award of merit recipient. She has served as President and Vice President of the Interior Design Society – DFW Chapter and past Vice President of the Window Coverings Association of America DFW Chapter. She was the passionate heart of Dorothy Greenlee Designs in Carrolton where she devoted herself to creating beautiful spaces for her clients, many of whom have become her dear friends.
She is survived by her husband Tim Greenlee of Kemp; father Frank Osborne of Mabank; mother Mary Robinson of Midlothian; son Steven Smith, daughter Lindsay Smith Lawson and husband Aaron, all of McKinney; stepchildren Becky Greenlee, Megan Greenlee, and Jake Greenlee, all of the DFW area; brother Robert Osborne and wife Marie of Mabank; nieces and nephews Chloe, Autumn, and Chandler Osborne of Mabank, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of loving friends.
Dorothy loved color, made it her career, and brought it to all of our lives.
