Edith Marie Barbee

Edith was born on September 23, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to parents Milburn James and Ollie Mae (Popplin) Good and entered into eternal rest on November 22, 2018 at the age of 70. Edith enjoyed knitting, painting and woodworking. She loved being outdoors, especially working in her flower beds. Edith was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents and son Kenneth Long.

She is survived by her daughter Leia Meadows and husband Bryan of Gun Barrel City, son John Long and wife Robbin of Eustace, daughter-in-law Mindy Long, grandchildren; William, Brittney, James, Heather, Marissa, Dillon, Kaylee, Tabatha and Addison, great-grandchildren Destiny and Rilyn, sisters; Nancy Walker of Arkansas and Gladys Jermillo of Flowers Mound, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
