Eleanor was born on April 23, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to parents Atillio and Margaret Cordiano and entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2015 at the age of 74. Eleanor was known by her family and friends as “Ellie”. Ellie was an artist; she attended art school in New York. Her passion for painting won her an award at the State Fair. Ellie’s specialties were portraits and landscapes. Her work can be seen at St. Jude Catholic Church, where she was a member for many years. Ellie was also a past President of Women’s Guild at St. Jude. She worked in the textile industry until she retired in 1998. Ellie’s other passion was traveling to the Bahamas, where she met her loving husband 47 years ago. She loved her dogs and cats. Ellie was a loving and caring lady who will be tremendously missed by those who knew and loved her.
Ellis was preceded in death by her parents and sister Dottie Cordiano.
She is survived by her husband Frank, of 46 years exactly to the day of her passing, sister Marie Brock and husband Ted, a host of extended family and many more friends.
