Mrs. Ellen Rose Howard

Ellen Rose Howard was born on April 20, 1931 in Greenville, Texas to parents Austin Alboro and Vera (Freeman) Browning and entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2017 at the age of 86. Ellen married the loved of her life, Billy Weldon Howard, on August 18, 1952. She worked hard all her life, Ellen worked as a seamstress. She worked at Haggard Slacks, Trebons Sewing and Titus Manufacturing. Ellen continued sewing even after her retirement. She was very loving to all her children, they never went without. Ellen made sure they had what they needed. She was very loved by her family as well. Ellen was a strong willed and very independent lady. Some might even say she was ornery. She enjoyed working puzzle books, crosswords, word search and word fill-ins. Ellen was Methodist by faith. She was a very giving and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be missed by all.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Mark Allen Howard, daughter Debra Lynn Adams and granddaughter Summer Dianne Howard.

She is survived by her son Austin Bryant Howard and wife Teresa Ann of McKinney, son Billy Stephen Howard and wife Roberta Lynn of Bridgeport, son David Corey Howard of Payne Springs and son Danny Carl Howard and wife Kimberly Ann of Mabank, daughter Jullie Andrea Mathis and husband Billy Reece of Marshall, grandchildren; Shanna, Stephen, Autumn, Mark, John, Tambi, Allen, Amanda, Josh, Dustin, David, Nolen and Joseph, 18 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and many more friends.
