Eunice ”Mickey” Lorene Wallace was born August 24, 1925 to parents William Odis and Georgia Idella (Brown) Slayton. She went to be with her Lord and Savior August 5, 2021. She met the love of her life Ralph Wallace and on June 25, 1955 they were married. She was a very proud wife and mother who served as the doctor, nurse, chauffer and the counselor of the family. Mickey loved to be the one behind the camera, always capturing the special moments. Some say she was the glue that held the family together. She was a good, caring Christian woman who served God faithfully at Payne Springs Baptist Church and she often volunteered to cook for any church gathering. She was also a member of the Order of The Eastern Star. Her family says she was a stern but loving woman who loved her flower garden and loved to sew. She leaves behind many memories that will forever live on throughout her family, she will be truly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Mickey was preceded in death by her parents William Odis and Georgia Idella Slayton, her beloved husband Ralph Wallace and brother Doyle Slayton. She is survived by her son Donald Wallace of Oklahoma, son Jay Wallace and wife Jill of Caney City TX, daughter Ruth Moser and husband Sam of Mabank TX, grandson Dustin Poole and wife Sherry of Talco TX, grandson Chris Poole and wife Carrie Of Mabank TX, grandson Matthew Poole of Mabank TX, granddaughter Samantha Moser of Mabank TX, granddaughter Heather Horton and husband C.W. of Gun Barrel City TX, 10 great grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday August 8, 2021 at Eubank Cedar Creek from 2pm-4pm.
A funeral service will be at Eubank Cedar Creek August 9, 2021 at 10am.
