Gary R. Newcomb was born on May 26, 1940 in Fresno, California to parents Granville Ross and Julia Evelyn (Trice) Newcomb and entered into eternal rest on August 19, 2017 at the age of 77. Gary married the love of his life, Sandra Williams, in Norfolk, VA on February 26, 1960. He served in the United States Navy for 23 years and worked at Boeing for 6 years. Gary enjoyed being outdoors; working in his yard and fishing. He was a great handy man, who could fix anything. Gary loved spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Faith Community Baptist Church. Gary was an amazing man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gerald Newcomb.
He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Newcomb of Mabank, daughters; Cary George and husband Larry of Benton, AR and Renee O’Neill and husband Chris of Aubrey, son Timothy Newcomb and wife Roxanne of Homeland, ID, grandchildren; Amanda, Laura, Chris, Michael, Samantha, Cassidy, Kyle and Cody, 11 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and many more friends.
