Gerald William Reichert

Jerry was born on May 11, 1938 in Wyandotte, Michigan to parents Thomas Reichert and Stella (Prazma) Reichert. Jerry was a devoted and loving husband having married his wife Wilda in 1962 and starting a family that he loved dearly. He was a member of the Hobby Crafters Foundation for 38 years making wooden toys for children. He enjoyed working on cars and playing poker in his spare time. Jerry was a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council #11721 for 45 years. Jerry was a loving family man and will be missed dearly.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Reichert and Stella Reichert, daughter Stasia Carolyn Gray, son in law Harold Hughes, great grandson Eric Hughes, sisters Pat Wieczorek and Susan Letkiewicz, brothers Bob, George, Larry, and Gene Reichert. He is survived by his loving wife Wilda Reichert of Mabank, daughters Teresa Mendoza and husband Michael of Kansas, Darlene Hughes of Mabank, and Susan Beecroft of Corsicana, son Vern Reichert and wife Brenda of Kingwood, grandchildren Harold Hughes III, Melissa Holleman, Gerald Reichert, Michael Mendoza, Jacob Mendoza, Salomona Mendoza, Sharon Harney, Christina Harney, Josef Camacho, Emma Gray, James Gray, Sara Burress, brother Danny Reichert of Sherman, Tony Reichert of Euless, sister Margaret Trojacek of Garland, extended family Jason, Heather, Matthew, Julie Vinson, Michael, April and Preston Asay, Linda, Jerry, Mike, and Jim, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
