Hattie Faye Jordan was born on June 23, 1937 in Tyler TX to parents Ray and Hattie (Craig) Ivie and entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2017 at the age of 79. She was married to Fred Jordan for 45 years. They owned two businesses in Florida until his passing in 1996. She then purchased homes in both Missouri and Texas and shared her time in both states with family. While in Texas she met William James and they were married for 10 years. He shared her love for the Lord and together they volunteered at Cedar View Place in Gun Barrel City, praising and witnessing. She attended First Missionary Baptist Church in Mabank.
Aside from her relationship with the Lord, her family was the most important thing in her life. She never met a stranger and she had a way of making everyone around her feel special. She always had a smile on her face and when she hugged you, you knew you were loved and cherished.

She is survived by her husband William James of Mabank, daughter Melinda Morrison of Plano, son Mike Jordan and wife Lisa of Sevierville TN, daughter Rhonda Smith and husband Thomas of Missouri, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, brother Billy Ray Ivie of Louisiana, sister Gracie Martin of Denton, TX, and many other loving family members and friends.
