Joe Ferrell

Services for Joseph William Ferrell, of Kemp, were held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel with Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating. Interment followed the service at Patterson Cemetery in Cross Roads. Joseph was born on February 20, 1956 in Dallas, TX to parents Lonnie and Dorothy (Hutchins) Ferrell and entered into eternal rest on May 5, 2014 at the age of 58. Joseph, whom everyone knew as Joe, loved going fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He enjoyed gardening and playing the harmonica. Joe married Kim Miller on December 23, 2006. He was a Christian by faith. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, son Joseph Sterling Ferrell and brother Tony Ferrell. He is survived by his wife Kim Ferrell of Kemp, children; Pius Ferrell of Kemp, Avery Ferrell of Kemp, Cole Ferrell of Teague, Chelsea Ferrell of Kemp, Sterling Ferrell of Kemp, grandchildren; Lacey, Bree and Emilee, brothers Edwin Ferrell and wife Diane of Greenville, Dan Ferrell and wife Dana of Trinidad, Mark Ferrell and wife Rosemary of Cross Roads and Kelvin Ferrell of Hawaii, sister Lola Beets and husband Earl Wayne of Eustace, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
