John James Francis

John James Francis was born December 13, 1981, to parents John and Esperanza Francis. He entered into eternal rest on August 30, 2021. John was an amazing son, brother, father, uncle and friend. John was also a brave and dedicated soldier. He served his country as a US Army Ranger, serving 2 tours, one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He served his country with honor and pride. John was always up for adventure, he loved anything outdoors, fishing, hunting, shooting guns. His favorite pastime was spending time with his kids and his family. He also enjoyed shooting pool and having a cold beverage with his friends.

John will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sandy Norwood and Bill Cowart. He is survived by his children, Nielli Sorenson, Jaycob Francis, Juliana Francis, Jonathan "Hondo" Francis; parents, John and Hope Francis; brother, Alex Francis and nephew, AJ Francis. John also leaves behind many other relatives, loved ones and lifelong friends.
