She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Gun Barrel City and attended church services until her health declined.
Johnnie enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, singing, and playing the piano. She strived for perfection in all that she did and made an effort to show her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren how special they were to her. She loved traveling to Oklahoma regularly to visit her siblings. Johnnie was loved by many and always looked forward to outings and holidays spent with her loved ones.
In addition to her children, David and Julie, Johnnie is survived by her sisters, Ida Hays and Charlotte Boucher; daughter-in-law, Rosa "Lali" Cosper; son-in-law, Greye Fowler; her adored grandchildren, Audra Leanne Fowler, Ashley Lauren Fowler and husband Corey Eugene Moore, David Franklin Cosper III and wife Macey, and Aaron Andrew Cosper.
