Mrs. Joyce Laverne Hardin

Joyce Laverne Hardin was born on August 25, 1934 in Mabank, Texas to parents Alonzo Russell and Demar Williford (Hall) Dean and entered into eternal rest on October 5, 2019 at the age of 85. Joyce was a hard worker and very independent. She was a really good cook and enjoyed being with her family. Joyce was a great listener for family members and the glue that kept them together. She loved dancing and enjoyed doing housework. Joyce had a special place in her heart for her dogs. She was an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joyce will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Henry Hardin and W.W. Bolden, daughter Sheryl Hardin and sister Inez Van Voast.

She is survived by her daughters; Beverly Jean Hefner and husband John of Island Lake, IL and Debra Ann Preston and husband Mike of Wylie, sons; Gary Lee Hardin and wife Delores of Mabank and Darryl Hardin of Mabank, ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
