Judith Carol Harrison

Judith Carol Harrison passed from this life on March 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 27, 1942, in Somerset, Pennsylvania to Leroy Elmer and Virginia Elvie (Porter) Gray. She grew up in Curtis Bay, Maryland and while babysitting over the holidays, she met the love of her life in Melvin Harrison. They were married six months later on June 30, 1962, and blessed with 59 wonderful years together. Judith never met a stranger and loved to help anyone she could. She was the matriarch of the family and adored cooking, baking and gathering the family for large Sunday dinners. To relax, Judith would sit and crochet beautiful handmade gifts for all the people she loved, proving family was the most important treasure in her life.

Judith is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin Harrison; son, Melvin Harrison, Jr.; grandson, Jeffrey Fraze, Jr.; parents, Leroy and Virginia Gray; sister, Jean Cordell; brothers: Tom Gray, Don Gray, John Gray, Bill Gray and Bob Gray.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Alexander and husband, Raymond; sons: Ken Harrison and wife, Rachael, Chris Harrison and wife, Kristie; grandchildren: Cassondra, Brittany and Christopher; great grandchildren: GW, Braylon, Liam, Christopher III, Emily, Allie and Sophie; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
