Larry Locke was born on July 20, 1946 in Plainview, Texas to parents Robert S. and Georgia F. (Barker) Locke and entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2018 at the age of 71. Larry attended McArthur High School, where he was voted to have the most school spirit. He served in the United States Army. Larry was in the 11th Calvary and was a decorated war hero in Vietnam and served as a field medic. He had a personality beyond explanation, he was a good man, a man among men. Larry was loved by everyone, he was just an incredible human being. He was a great father, husband and an excellent brother. Larry never had much to complain about, he loved life. He enjoyed traveling with his brother Steve and good friend Dave, for the 11th Calvary reunions. He was an amazing man, who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, wife Paula Locke, son Todd Locke, daughter Sandra Locke, brother Robert N. Locke, brother Wailon Martin and sister Margaret Rowe.
He is survived by his brother Stephen Locke, step-daughter Chrissy Cannaday, step-son Aaron Wood, other loving family members and many more friends.
