Linda Kay Walters was born October 29, 1950 in Canton, Texas to Curg Walters and Sybil M. Simmons and entered eternal rest on September 4, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 69. She graduated from Canton High School in 1969, was employed by Walmart from 2007 through 2016, and was a Home Health Aid. Linda was a headstrong, independent, honest, loving mother and grandmother who loved her grandkids, great-grandbaby on the way, her dog "Stella", flowers and the color red. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, cross word puzzles and soap-operas. Linda was a remarkable woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her especially those that called her "Shorty" and "Grammie".
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; mother Sybil Hager, step-father Edgar Hager, father Curg Walters, brother Billy Joe Walters, and grandson Landon James. She is survived by her daughter Kari Cox of Cleburne, granddaughter Madison Bauer of Cleburne, her dogs; Stella and Brownie, seven cats and a great-granddaughter coming in February - Phoenix Nicole Kay Bauer.
