Margaret was born on October 1, 1937 in Mabank, Texas to parents Thurman and Gladys Marie (Craft) Thompson and entered into eternal rest on August 14, 2020 at the age of 82. Margaret was very athletic in school and graduated from Mabank High School, Class of 1956. She married the love of her life, Charles Easley, on June 28, 1957 in Mabank, Texas. Margaret was a hard worker, taking care of her husband. Also, doing all the bookkeeping for the family ranch. She was a dog and cat lover, having 13 dogs at one time. Margaret poured her heart and soul into her family, friends and home. She was a good and loving friend, who was also very loyal. Margaret and Billie Frances Dyer had been best friends since elementary school. Keeping in touch throughout their whole lives. Never had a cross word with each other, they always got together for their birthdays to celebrate. Margaret was the kind of person you could call upon for anything. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Thurman Thompson.
She is survived by her loving husband Charles Easley of Palestine, son Scott Easley and wife Hallie of Martins Mill, grandson Charles Maverick Easley of Martins Mill, granddaughter Kimberly Anne Parsons and husband Michael Andrew of Martins Mill, brother Tommie Jones of Texas, sister Debbie Gibbs of Florida, niece Gypsy Jo Allen Jones of Dallas, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
