Mary was born on January 30, 1926 in Cedar Hill, TX to parents Joe and Mary Annie (Turner) Carder and entered into eternal rest on July 2, 2016 at the age of 90. Mary was known as “Memaw” by everyone who knew and loved her. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed being outside working in her garden. Mary had a great love for fishing; she was a true fisherwoman. She loved dancing and cooking. Mary was a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 4376 and Lancaster Order of the Eastern Star. She attended Lakeview Assembly of God. Mary was a very loving and caring lady who will be missed tremendously by all those who knew and loved her.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold W. Skinner and sister Annie Pearl Hobert.
She is survived by her daughter Pat Curry of Kemp, granddaughters; Patti Jordan and husband Mark of Kemp, Lisa Curry and Rachelle Leonard of Allen and Marrie Lue Wright and Trae Wright of Kemp, great-grandchildren; Justin Jordan, Preston Jordan , Paige Winkley and Shelbie Wright, other loving family members and many more friends.
