Mary McIntosh was born on June 14, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to parents Nyron Monday Turner and Gloria Kinson and entered into eternal rest on May 25, 2018 at the age of 68. Mary worked as a chiropractic assistant for 22 years. She was a super woman, very strong and loving. Mary loved her family, she was an amazing mother to her daughters. She married the love of her life, Sid McIntosh, on March 6, 2004 in Balch Springs. Mary lived for Sid, the girls and her grandchildren. She rode with the Patriot Guard Rider since 2004. Mary was a member of Hope Fellowship Church. She was active in the church and served as the treasurer. The church knew her as “The lady that glowed”. Mary enjoyed arts and crafts and sewing. She loved being outdoors on the motorcycle or fishing. Mary’s family was her life, she loved being with them, cooking, eating and just being together. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary was preceded in death by her father Nyron Monday Turner, both her mothers; Gloria Viola and Winnie Warren, son Jack Thomas and sister Linda Turner.
She is survived by her loving husband Sid McInstosh of Tool, daughter Martitia Thomas of Wilmer, daughter Tawana Campbell and husband Gale of Balch Springs, daughter Tracie Johnson and husband Lawrence of Gun Barrel City, daughter Tina Turner and husband Brad Hunt of Seagoville, grandchildren; Michael, Chad, Letitia, Eddie, Amanda, Joe, Amber, Neveah, Benji, J.J., Chloe and Kaylee, 16 great-grandchildren, sister Judy Knott and husband David of Kaufman, sister Jackie Nelms of Gun Barrel City, sister Sheree Morris and husband Don of Quinlan, brother Billy Turner and wife Debbie of Mabank, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
