Myra was born on June 21st, 1940 in Odom (Mabank) to parents Haden and Zaleme (Gray) Odom and entered into eternal rest on November 28, 2015 at the age of 75. Myra was known as”NaNa” by most of her grandkids. She loved being a farm girl, cooking, yard and garden work and traveling with her husband. Myra received an Associate’s degree from Henderson County Jr. College where she was a band scholar, a band majorette and the 1st ever officer in the Cardettes. Myra coached little league baseball with her husband. She held her family and faith close to her heart and was a member of First United Methodist of Mabank. Myra was a loving caring lady who will be missed by all who knew her. Myra’s family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to her hospice and others who participated in Myra’s care.
Myra is preceded in death by her parents, brother Billie Odom, sisters: Virginia Pippins, and twin sister Martha Bramblitt.
She is survived by husband Don of Mabank, sons; Brad Clontz and Denise of Tyler, and John Clontz and Erica of Heath, TX, sister Sue Johnson of Mabank, a special cousin Mary Ann Odom of Mabank, 4 grandchildren; Laura, Will, Elizabeth, Catherine , other family and many loving friends.
