Celebration of life services for Patsy Ruth Rogers, 87, of Mabank, Texas will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 1, 2024, at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas with Pastor Matt Faircloth officiating. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 pm.
Patsy passed from this life on October 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 6, 1937, in Dallas, Texas to J. C. and Ruth Beach (Chase) Dean. Patsy grew up in Dallas before graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School. She then married the love of her life, Billy Rogers, in 1965 over Labor Day Weekend and was blessed with 38 wonderful years together. Patsy never met a stranger, and she loved to spend time with family and friends. She liked to take care of her grandkids and to keep in touch with all her friends by email or Facebook. During her free time, Patsy enjoyed cooking and gardening where she knew the names of every plant she saw. In the evenings, Patsy curled up with her cherished collection of pillows all around and worked on jigsaw puzzles.
Patsy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Rogers; son, Michael Rogers; parents: J.C. and Ruth Dean; brothers: J.C. Dean, Jr and John Dean.
She is survived by her treasured family: son, Keith Rogers and wife, Andrea; daughter, Jennifer Hopkins and husband, Todd; grandchildren: Camille, Jerad, Elijah, Colin, Taylor, Chloe, Jess, Billy; great grandchildren: Hayden, Harper, Murphy; sister, Linda Burgess; daughter-in-law, Lana Clements; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
