Mr. Phillip DeMelles Thompson Jr. was born on September 13, 1953 in Grand Saline, Texas to parents Phillip DeMelles and Wanda Louise (Anderson) Thompson Sr. and entered into eternal rest on February 10, 2018 at the age of 64. Phillip had a great sense of humor and made everyone smile. He loved his family and friends; especially his grandbabies. Phillip loved riding Harley’s and rode in many bike rallies and benefit rides. He went to Sparks, OK every year for a big motorcycle rally. It was his favorite place to go. Phillip also enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was loved by everyone and will be missed tremendously by those who knew and loved him.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Tamera Thompson of Tool, son James Lasater and wife Liz of Kemp, son Joshua Thompson of Cedar Creek Lake, son Steven VanSickle and wife Misty of Mabank, daughter Katrina Thompson and fiancé Phillip of Lewisville, grandchildren; Collin, Brandon, Haley, Vanessa, Lauren, Bethany, Amber, Ashley and Kala, brother Bruce and wife Irene, sister Patricia and husband Larry, sister Phillis and sister Venita and husband David, many nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
