Randy Charles Copeland passed from this life April 15, 2016 in Corsicana, Texas at the age of 85 years, after a prolonged illness. He was born in Cottle County, Texas (Near Paducah, Texas) to Emett and Cassie Copeland. He had a long and eventful life, successfully serving as President and CEO of several companies related to the field of energy, especially related to oil and natural gas production and management. He also served as Commissioner of Housing Authority in Corsicana.
He is survived by his devoted daughter, Carol Copeland Roddino of Mesquite, Texas and his step-daughter Nicole West and her husband, Jason, of Arlington, Texas, grandchildren, Jennifer Scott and husband, Jason, of Forney, Texas and Houston Nunez and Brandon Nunez. He has one great grandson, Judson West. He also leaves many friends and neighbors in Corsicana and in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
Graveside service will be conducted at the Hogeye Celeste Cemetery in Celeste, Texas, Hunt County on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11am, under the direction of the Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home of Mabank, Texas. Robert Burns, his friend for almost 50 years, will officiate.
