Reverend Larry Kenneth Smeal

Larry K. Smeal was born February 19, 1948 to Kenneth and Jean Smeal. He married Lavania M. Goodrow, AKA Lee, November 16, 1964. Larry was 16, Lee was 14.

Larry was a Livestock Buyer for Livestock companies across a lot of the U.S.A. He entered Southeastern Bible College, Florida in 1976. He graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor's Degree. He pastored First Assembly of God in 1979 till 1986. He accepted Pastorate in First Assembly of God, Kemp, Texas for 35 plus years until his death, August 2, 2024. He loved people and loved to make them laugh. Larry was dedicated to his family and people in his church. His desire was that ALL would come to serve the Lord.

Larry is home now, he's not suffering. God has given him his greatest desire, to go to heaven and be with Jesus. He will be sorely missed.

Larry is preceded in death by their son, Larry Lee, born January 7, 1966 and passed away January 25, 1966; his brother, Calvin; and both his parents, Kenneth and Jean.

Larry has left behind his wife, Lee; daughter, Tammy Langdon; 3 sons, Larry K. Junior, Ronny K. and Stephen.

A visitation for Reverend Larry will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Eubank Cedar Creek, 601 S. 3rd St., Mabank, Texas, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
