Ronnie was born in Kaufman, Texas, and grew up on the Wynne Ranch. He graduated from Kaufman High School in 1966. He joined the Air Force in February 1967 and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He married Deborah Hall on August 1, 1970. He worked for AMOCO for 25 years. Upon his retirement from AMOCO, he and Deborah moved to Mabank, where he served as a city services supervisor for twelve years.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his mother and father Vernon Smith Tuttle and Clinton H. Tuttle and brother Hollis Tuttle.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Deborah Tuttle, his niece Sherry Beck and husband David, and great nephew Weston Beck and wife Heather, as well as many other nieces and nephews.
