Sammie Thomas

Mr. Sammie Thomas was born on January 11, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to parents Carl and Georgia Genice (Mormon) Thomas and entered into eternal rest on September 25, 2017 at the age of 66. Sammie was a proud and strong willed man. He enjoyed being outdoors; fishing and hunting. Sammie loved spending time with this family and he especially loved his grandchildren; they meant the world to him. He retired after many years working for Aegis Bio Systems. Sammie was an amazing person, father and grandfather and he will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sammie was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Snyder and brother Carl Thomas.

He is survived by his son Steven Thomas and wife Dawn of San Antonio, son Samuel Thomas and wife Carie of Celeste, daughter Tammy Payne and husband Brady of Mabank, seven precious grandchildren, sister Janice Wood and husband Henry of Dallas, sister Barbara Turner and husband Ken of Washington State, sister Nancy Kuapil and husband Pat of Rockwall, brother E.J. Thomas of Dallas, other loving family members and many more friends.
