Mr. Skid Rawlinson

Skid was born on May 21, 1951 in Grand Prairie, Texas to parents Curtis Lee and Geraldine (Roberts) Rawlinson and entered into eternal rest on February 13, 2018 at the age of 66. Skid was self-employed as a contractor for 35 plus years and security work for 5 plus years. Skid married Shirley Coffman on June 21, 1991 in Rowlett, Texas. He was a very outgoing person, happy go lucky, enjoyed being around people. Skid loved his family and was very protective of his kids and grandchildren. He loved guns, knives and racing. Skid like listening to country music, horses and horse trade. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Skid was preceded in death by his parents and brother Milburn Wade Rawlinson.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Rawlinson of Eustace, daughter Katie Suire and husband Daniel of Canton, son Matthew Rawlinson and wife Jeannie of Kemp, son Morgan Rawlinson and wife Diane of Eustace, step-daughter Tammy Williams and husband Craig of Arlington, step-son David Gurley and wife Stephanie of Martins Mill, step-daughter Susan Roberts and husband Gary of Eustace, step-daughter Angela Dyer and husband Billy of Phalba, 23 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sister Brenda Booher of Gun Barrel City, sister Pamela Peterson and husband Randy of Seagoville, sister Cindy Jones of Athens, Brother Gary Rawlinson of Eustace, other loving family members and many more friends.
