Tina was born on April 29, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to parents Judge Dayward and Florence Beatris (Yarbrough) Thornton and entered into eternal rest on November 7, 2018 at the age of 63. Tina attended Spruce High School, where she was very active in Home Economic, graduating in 1973. She married the love of her life, David Lingo, on October 17, 1986 in Circleville, OH. Tina loved traveling and vacationing with David, especially their trip to Cozumel. She enjoyed going antique shopping. Tina’s main love was her family and spending holidays and birthdays together. She loved her grandchildren. Tina was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Balch Springs. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Tina will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sandra Allen and brother Ronnie Thornton.
She is survived by her loving husband David Lingo of Kemp, son Randy Maurice Lingo and wife Wendy of Henderson, daughter Lindsey Bridges and husband Jacob of Kemp, son Michael David Lingo and wife Christina of Kemp, grandchildren; Hanna Lingo, Mason Vandefifer, Trenton Vandefifer, Kloe Lingo, Judge Lingo, Trent Bridges, Ty Bridges, Scarlett Lingo, Everly Lingo and Avery Evans, sister Patty Spencer and husband Johnny of Combine, brother Jerry Thornton of Mesquite, sister Deborah Ford of Seagoville, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
