Vickie McLauchlin Rose

Born on January 20, 1957, in Athens, Texas, Vickie was a daughter of the late Albert Winston McLauchlin and the late Mae Pearl Dickerson McLauchlin.

Vickie was a graduate of Eustace School and spent many years working for Bank of America, retiring in 2023. She was happily married to David for 42 years, and together they built a life centered on love and family. She was a devoted mother, always putting her children first and supporting them with unwavering love and care. She treasured time spent with loved ones and found peace and happiness on the family farm, especially the time she shared there with her family. One of her greatest joys was creating memories with her grandchildren, filling their time together with creativity, laughter, and love. Vickie will be remembered for her warm heart, devotion to family and friends, and the meaningful connections she shared with those she loved.

Along with her husband, David Rose, Vickie is survived by her children Ashley Elliott (husband Austin Elliott) and Jason Rose; her grandchildren Tommy, Tinsley, and Teddy Elliott; her siblings, Sheila McLauchlin and Jeff McLauchlin; and other loving family members and many friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David McLauchlin.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 12 noon at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Payne Springs Cemetery in Mabank, Texas.
