Scott Walters, 94 of Gun Barrel City, passed away on Feb 21, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Scott was born on Sept 10, 1930, on a farm outside Tahoka, TX, to the late Henry and Lucille Walters. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Lively.
Scott loved the Lord and his family deeply. He loved to study the word of God. He was generous and loving to his friends and neighbors. Scott was retired from the electrical supply business. He was a Navy veteran and served in the Korean War. He had a passion for fishing and gardening.
Scott was married to his wife of 54 years, Jane Walters. He is survived by his son, Dick Walters and spouse Karen, of Saginaw, his daughter Debra Garner, of Fort Worth, and daughter Dena Nelson and husband Jeff Nelson, Gun Barrel City. He’s also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
