Sunday Feb. 28, 2016. She passed away peacefully at Wesley Willows of old age. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Born Jan. 4 1921, in Rockford, IL. Daughter of George and Grace (Thompson) Herwat. Married Robert Fenicle Oct. 10, 1947. He predeceased her after 64 years of marriage. Almeda enjoyed her children, grandchildren and cleaning.
Survived by her daughters, Carolynn (Jerry) Stromquist and Ruth (Donald) Bunjes; son, John (Tiki) Fenicle; grandchildren, Terry (Julie) Stromquist, Cindy Smith, Don (Jennifer) Bunjes, Jerry (Candy) Stromquist and Rob Fenicle; great-grandchildren, Brooke Bunjes, Ashley Smith, Terry Stromquist Jr., Miranda Stromquist, Chase Stromquist, Nicole Schlenz; great-great-granddaughter, Norah Schlenz.
Funeral Services at 10 a.m. on Friday March 4 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Visitation at 9 a.m. until time of service.
