Arthur F. Eichman

Arthur Frederick Eichman, age 91, of Janesville, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. He was born March 23, 1932 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Zima (Laming) and Adam Eichman. He married Violette Eichman on February 14, 2008.

Art was a jokester, he always had something funny to say and a not so appropriate joke for every occasion. He loved playing cards, visiting the casino, and putting together puzzles. Art was a big fan of all the Chicago teams, but especially the Cubs and the Bears.

Art is survived by his wife, Violette Eichman; children, Steven (Peggy) Eichman, Kathy Williams, Mike (Shari) Eichman, Julie (Greg) Reed, Toni Muniz, Debra Fauber, Denise Harris, and Diane (John) Pierce; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Susan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Zima and Adam Eichman; and siblings, Adam and Karen.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cochlear Implant Awareness Foundation.

A celebration of life memorial gathering for Arthur will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115.
