Barbara Laura Ann Mernack

ROCKFORD,IL. Barbara Laura Ann Mernack, 77, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 with her family at her side. Born March 9. 1938 in Rockford, Il. to Harold and Margaret (Carlson) Lindell. In 1957 she married Jeral Mernack and together shared 57 years while raising their three children. She loved working in her garden, tending to her flowers, showcasing her talents in crafting, garagesaleing, but most importantly she made a career out of taking care of her family and many other people who entered into her life, especially children. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors: husband, Jeral; children, Joey (Becky) Mernack, Cynthia (Durk) Roper, Jeffrey (Jody) Mernack; grandchildren, April (Kyle) Pearson, Joshua Mernack, Durk Roper, Katelyn Mernack; great-grandchildren, Leo Lockinger, KayLeigh Pearson, KamDyn Pearson; siblings, John Hartman, Meg (Lloyd) Oehlke; special niece, Cheryl Crimmins and other numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, siblings, Chuck and Earl Lindell, Mary Lou Dale, Juanita Presley, set of twins.
