Chadd W. Stokes, 64, of Rockford, IL, passed away suddenly, Friday, July 29, 2022. Chadd was born October 31, 1957 in Rockford, IL, the son of Billie Carsten. He was employed as a mechanic for Marathon Petroleum, Seymour of Sycamore, Krauss Ladder and Sun Tech. Chadd had a passion for motorcycles and motocross. He enjoyed anything related to motorcycles. Most of all, Chadd enjoyed cheering on his children in motocross and loved watching his grandchildren during their BMX races.
Chadd is loved and missed by his children, Matt (Danielle) Stokes, Haley (Jake) Jevitz, Mark Stokes, Matthew (Michelle) Whitlow, Branden (Brittney) Whitlow; grandchildren, Sally and Ford Stokes, Stevie Stokes, Leyah Langley, Londynn Whitlow and Braxton Whitlow; mother, Billie Creed; brother, Chuck (Connie) Creed: and best friend, Pat Oddo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Stokes; and sisters, Destiney Stokes and Roxie Dahlen.
