Clarren G. Wilson Jr.

Clarren G. Wilson, Jr., of Loves Park, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at Lincolnshire Place. A WWII United States Navy Veteran, he was born on August 4, 1928 in Vian, OK, the son of the late Clarren, Sr. and Mamie (Tackett) Wilson.

Clarren married Patricia Wagner on December 30, 1965 in Oregon, IL.

Survivors include his children, Teresa (Michael) McDonough, Christi (Richard) Gomez, Nicholas (Joy) Shoemaker and Michael Shoemaker; grandchildren, Scott Harmon, Grant Harmon, Karissa McDonough, Angela Telford, Amanda Askeland, Ryan Kolosky, Derek Shoemaker, David Shoemaker and Aaron Shoemaker; five great-grandchildren; sister, Ima Dale Byfield.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Wilson and his parents.

Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115. Visitation will be 11 a.m. till time of service at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
