Dale A. Bennett

Dale A. Bennett, 86, of Pecatonica, IL. died Sunday, December 3,2017. Dale, loved the outdoors. He connected with nature through his farming career in Payne Points, IL. and later through his gardening hobby. Dale was an avid bowler. Dale was a valued employee who worked at Kysor in Byron then Greenlee Tool where he worked for over 21 years as a tool and die maker until his retirement in 1994. Dale enjoyed his new hobby of attending the Chana Sale Barn, where he met up with friends and engaged in good conversation and a good deal! Dale was born November 24, 1931 in Kings, IL. to Alpha and LuLa (Jenkins) Bennett.

Survivors: children, Dewayne (Jody) Bennett, Galen (Denise), Bennett, Belinda (Gary) Mayberry, Malinda Thomas, Jeff Aronson; grandchildren, Briar (Matt) Croft, Brianne (John) Angele, Brandt (Kim) Bennett, Kelli (Quinn) Virgil, Kole (Abby Boomgarden) Bennett, Ben, Jacob, Casey Mayberry, Emily Thomas, Dayne Thomas, Brogan (Sara) Bennett Zakkeeas, Niles, Payden Aronson; 11 great-grandchildren; former spouse, Barbara Bennett; faithful canine companions, Missy and Rocket.
