Deborah M. Thompson, passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 73. Deborah was born on October 8, 1952 in Alamo, Tennessee to Buford and Bobbie O'neil Forsythe. At a young age Deb moved to Machesney Park. Deb graduated from Harlem High School and years later became a beautician. She retired from Logli grocery store. Deb enjoyed gardening, creating crafts with her grandkids, and baking; specifically known for her famous fudge.
Deb is survived by her children, Danielle Nelson, Jamie (Mandy) Hafferty, Missy (Brian) Weteska, and Mike Hafferty Partner, Larry Hafferty; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Damon, Dylan, Devon, Gavin, Gianni, Avery, and Tanner; great grandchildren, Nova and Gabi; siblings, Robert Forsythe; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Thompson; son, Ron Thompson.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 12pm until the time of the service at 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home (8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115).
