Evelyn Hudson - Manley

Evelyn Hudson Manley, born August 20, 1930 in Sardis, Tennessee the daughter of James Cunningham and Lessie Pearson Cunningham. She married Warren R. Hudson on June 30, 1950 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1988. She then married Donald Manley on November 27, 2000.

Evelyn retired from Rockford Products Corp. in 1990.

Evelyn is survived by her step-mother: Lavearn Cunningham; husband Donald; daughters: Debra (Phillip) Rodgers and Sarah (Larry) Dawson; sons: Richard (Joann) Hudson, Jeffrey (Samantha) Hudson and Rodrick (Stacy) Manley; brothers: Robert Cunningham, JC Cunningham and Max Cunningham; sisters: Mary Sue Tallent, Bonnie (Terry) Schlesser, Paulette (Freeman) McDonald and Jeanette Cunningham; grandchildren: Dustin and Courtney Rodgers, Kristoffer Hudson, Caitlin and Ashley Dawson, Andrew and Kira Manley; great grandchildren: Austin, Aspen and Nathan Hudson.

Evelyn was preceded by her parents, husband Warren, brother James and sister Vergie Lee.

A service to celebrate Evelyn’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday June 7, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park. A visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
