Florence E. Deschaine

Florence was born March 16, 1928 in Darien, WI, the daughter of Axel Gunnar and Hulda Eliza Lundgren Larson. She married Robert Deschaine on June 11, 1949 and he preceded her in death on May 28, 1983. Florence was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. She loved her Saturday visits from her extended family of four generations. Florence enjoyed working word search puzzles and watching her favorite shows, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right and eating her chocolate. Whenever she was out with her family, everyone she would meet made the comment “what a cute little grandma she was”

Florence is survived by her children: Alan Deschaine, Russell Deschaine and wife Linda, Sherry Luckie and husband Kenny, Karen Williamson and husband Johnny, Susan Deschaine: ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; sister Esther Hanson, brother Carl Larson.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, daughter Rose Marie Deschaine Young, daughter-in-law Barbara Deschaine, and numerous brothers and sisters.

A service to celebrate Florence’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday April 22, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park. Visitation will be Sunday April 21, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
