Frank Odell Finley

Frank Odell Finley, 79, of Mt. Horeb, WI (formerly of Machesney Park, IL) passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Ingleside Manor. Frank was born on May 22, 1939 in Black Oak, AR, the son of Willie Frank and Clara Johnson Finley. Frank married Mary Finley and she preceded him in death. Frank was a hard worker and loved teaching himself new things, such as Hebrew. He was an avid chess player, big Bears fan and loved his special cat Spencer.

Frank is survived by his daughter Lori (Randy) Craig and their children Hannah and Abby; son David O’Rion (Marcie) Finley and their children Joe (Samantha) Liebgott and their daughter Jordan, Megan (Caleb) Brouer and their son Karson; brother Charles (Angie) Finley; sisters Joyce (Don) Williams and Janice Sims. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary and 11 brothers and sisters.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at Ingleside Manor for their loving care of Frank.

Service to celebrate Frank’s life will be 3:00 pm Friday, August 10, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park, IL 61115; visitation for Frank will be from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
