

Gerald (Jerry) Lloyd Lowe, the son of Clifton and Iva Lowe, was born in Twin Falls, Idaho. He had an incredible life and leaves behind a legacy of love and service to the Lord. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Jerry married his high school sweetheart, Juliene Lowe and moved to Rockford IL. They were married for 42 years, until Juliene passed away. They are both survived by their three children, Ronald (Karen) Lowe, Teresa Lowe and Linda (Dean) Bohnert. Grandchildren include Diana Lowe, Eric Bohnert, Kevin Bohnert, and great grandson Andrew Rivera.
Jerry moved to Houston, Texas and met Sally Listenbee Lowe. They married in July 2003. Sally’s children are Fran (Brent) Walker, Kim (Donald) Willeford, and Brady (Christy) Traywick. Grandchildren include Adam Walker, Ben Walker, Hannah Walker, Lauren Traywick, Claire Traywick, Ali Traywick, Drew (Taylor) Willeford, Kira (Ben) Boles, and two great granddaughters, Isla Willeford and Stella Boles.
Jerry served in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed traveling around the world, hunting and fishing, and most importantly spending time with family. He had a special way of always seeing the unique gifts of everyone. Jerry was a man who always put others first. He was a Deacon at the MET and was a certified biblical counselor who touched the lives of many. Friends are invited to visit with the family and celebrate his life between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, at Klein Funeral Home – CyFair Northwest, 9719 Wortham Blvd. Houston, Texas 77065.
A private funeral service and celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Gerald was laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Machesney Park, IL.
