James Kenneth Wyatt

James would later marry the love of his life, Carol (Gustin) Wyatt on February 20, 1971.

James honorably served our country in the US Army.

He was employed by Barber Colman for 13 years and retired from Sundstrand after 30 years of faithful service.

James was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church of Belvidere and Rockford Garden Club. He also rang bells during the holiday season to help support the Salvation Army.

His hobbies included gardening, reading, watching old movies, woodworking, picture framing, and collecting anything he could. James was also an avid animal lover.

He will be truly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Carol Wyatt; son, Tim (Peggy) Wyatt; and several loving nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Funeral Service 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, with visitation 10 a.m. until the time of service. Doctor Bob Kopp officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Online condolences may be submitted at www.sunsetfhmemgardens.com
